A Place to Be, a Middleburg-based music therapy center, has expanded to Leesburg and celebrated its grand opening with an open house event on Sept. 30.
The new 6,500-square-foot facility is located in the Village at Leesburg at 1600 Village Market Boulevard next to the movie theater.
Its signature cloud theme is featured in the entryway, based on one of their original productions, “The Same Sky Project.”
“No matter who you are or what your challenge, we all live under the same sky,” is a quote by Amy Stone, a participant in A Place to Be’s programs. Co-founder Kim Tapper said the quote encompasses the sentiment behind the nonprofit’s mission.
