The holiday season is fast approaching, and many shoppers are getting ready for Black Friday doorbusters. If that doesn’t quite sound your speed, however, the day that follows might be for you!  Small Business Saturday was created to encourage shoppers to support small, local businesses in their communities. Thankfully, we have a wide variety of fantastic small businesses that operate within our shopping center. From bakeries to clothing boutiques, our guests can support local entrepreneurs and discover unique goods and experiences!

At Festival at Riva, check out Festival Wine & Spirits, a one-stop shop for all things holiday cocktails or wine baskets. Their wide selection of wines, beer, and liquor from around the world makes the perfect host gift for any holiday party on your calendar.

There’s no shortage of options for the foodies!  At Charred in Worldgate Centre, Chef Santiago combines your fall favorites to make the perfect burger or sandwich. Everything is made fresh to order, so you know you’re getting something delicious.  After a long day of shopping, a warm bowl of pho from Asian Garden at Dominion Valley Market Square or sushi from West End Village’s Taste of Asia are a must!

Searching for a gift for your four-legged friends?  Check out Wiggle Butt and Whiskers in Village at Leesburg or Miss Kibbles Natural Pet Supplies in Bristow Shopping Center for savings on foods, treats, and specialty items for both dogs and cats.

Need a pick-me-up as you check off your shopping list?  Stop into Weird Brothers Coffee at Worldgate Centre or Village at Leesburg for a hot drink and a snack to recharge before heading back out into the fray.  Coffee Coffee in Festival at Bel Air is a locally sourced coffee shop offering a wide selection of delicious drinks and food items, all made with high-quality ingredients.  If you’re in the mood for something sweeter, Cafe Miki at Potomac Festival is the perfect spot for high-quality coffees, bubble tea, and homemade ice cream, or The Conche at Village at Leesburg for artisan handmade chocolate confections.

Need to get holiday party ready?  Stop by West End Village and drop your outfit off at King’s Cleaners to take advantage of their single-day dry cleaning!  While you wait, grab a pastry from Mediterranean Bakery & Cafe before getting a new ‘do at New Image Hair Salon.

What could be better than sipping while you shop?  At Village at Leesburg you can do just that!  Grab a beer at The Dell or a glass of wine at Vino Bistro and sip while you take in the sights on the Plaza.  Find something for everyone on your list at Lazy Daisy, Sienna Sky Boutique, TREK Leesburg, White & Ivory Fine Jewelry, and Potomac River Running!

At Rappaport, fostering small businesses is core to our mission of Cultivating Places.  By supporting these small businesses, you’re helping your community thrive. So, if you’re looking for a holiday shopping experience that builds community and contributes to the local economy, come to Rappaport shopping centers and shop small this year.
