Angie Trosper joins Rappaport as an Executive Director of Brokerage, where she will provide tenant representation in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Her 27 years of commercial real estate and tenant representation experience have contributed to her unparalleled market knowledge across all market areas throughout the DMV.

Trosper joins Rappaport after five years at CBRE where she served as First Vice President. During her time at CBRE, she represented strong retail clients including Starbucks– with whom she opened over 400 stores– Banfield Pet Hospital, Chipotle, Darden Restaurants, Potbelly, Jersey Mikes, Eagle Bank, and a host of other national and local retailers.  Trosper spent over 20 years at Streetsense Retail Advisors, serving as a partner before their acquisition by CBRE in 2017.

Akiel Pyant joins Rappaport as a Leasing Representative, where he will provide landlord representation services for Rappaport’s portfolio of grocery-anchored shopping centers located in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia markets. Pyant’s market knowledge and retail leasing experience will further strengthen Rappaport’s existing team of retail experts.

Pyant joins Rappaport after three and a half years as a Leasing Associate at Combined Properties. At Combined, he advised commercial retail clients across a range of services including new deals, lease renewals, letters of intent, and amendments, and utilized market analysis to create innovative business strategies that align with the tenant and landlord performance, in concurrence with mitigating risks associated with shopping centers.

Pyant is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park where he received a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development and an undergraduate degree from the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice in the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences.  Pyant served on the Alumni Board for the Master of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation at the University of Maryland, and is a member of ICSC.  Outside of work, he enjoys swimming and spending time with his family.
