After a long hiatus, the Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) Mid-Atlantic Conference is finally back! This year’s event, which runs from the 14th-15th of September 2022 will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
Rappaport is excited to join other attendees for a series of retailer showcases, live events, and in-depth insights into the vibrant Mid-Atlantic market. We are also tremendously proud to have two of our own, Dee Singletary and Kellen Hunte, working closely with ICSC and other industry professionals as part of the planning committee for this year’s event.
Some highlights to look forward to include a presentation on the State of the Industry by ICSC CEO, Tom McGee, a keynote presentation by futurist Brian Solis, and a networking breakfast and leadership panel for women in commercial real estate (see a full rundown of the schedule here).
Retailer Runway and more
Another top draw for many attendees is the Retailer Runway segment, which gives retailers a platform to share their brand stories and business expansion plans. The segment takes place on Wednesday 14th from 4:30pm – 5:15pm.
Grocery Outlets, Noodles & Company, and two Rappaport retailers, District Taco and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, will be presenting at the event so be sure to stop by as these growth-focused retailers outline their strategies for building their brands in new locations.

In addition, the Developer Runway takes place on Wednesday, the 14th (2:30pm – 3:30pm) where you can hear about some of the most ambitious new development projects coming up in the Mid-Atlantic region.
