Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. We are inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care, and the unwavering determination of the doctors and scientists who work to find the cure.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars, which is why we ask for your support. Rappaport is proud to serve as presenting sponsor in the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one-day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover treatment and prevention methods for Alzheimer’s disease.
This year’s ride will take place on Saturday, May 3 at Leesburg’s stunning Morven Park in Loudoun County, VA— D.C.’s Wine Country. With route options ranging from 10 to 100 miles, there is something for every skill level. Opportunities to join our team or donate to #TeamRappaport can be found here. We’d love to have you ride with us this year!
Last year, Rappaport raised an impressive $61,519 for the Alzheimer’s Association, shattering our $50,000 goal.
This year, we aim to go even further. But we can’t do it without your help! #TeamRapapport is open to anyone who wants to participate and support the cause. You do not have to be an experienced rider or even an employee at Rappaport to join our team. All are welcome, and with each dollar raised, we get one step closer to finding a cure.
Alzheimer’s disease affects so many lives, and that is why we have to come together and support the cause. We at Rappaport, along with our partners, are proud to join the “Ride to End ALZ” once again, and we welcome everyone to join us. Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast or just looking to make a difference, your participation is valued and appreciated.
Alzheimer’s touches all of us, and it will take all of us to end it. Let’s end ALZ together!
