After her 7-year-old son, Morgan, passed away in a tragic act of violence, Michelle sought to use this tragedy for something good. Out of this, she created The Lazy Daisy Gift Store, a space filled with art, furniture, and “pretty things” as Michelle says. The first location opened in 2011 and has been expanding ever since. The Lazy Daisy Gift Store is now seeking 6,000 – 7,500 SF sites in Northern Virginia.
