LEESBURG, Va., Oct. 28, 2022—Village at Leesburg (located just east of historic Leesburg on Route 7) announced that it has recently signed five new tenants and has two tenant expansions. The center features more than 550,593-square-foot. retail space, including a 142,692-square-foot Wegman’s.

“The addition and expansion of these retailers and restaurants allow for us to continue to provide a diverse amount of choices for visitors while also investing in our local community as well as supporting small and women-owned businesses,” said Susan Bourgeois, Executive Director of Leasing & Brokerage at Rappaport, the company that owns, manages, and leases Village at Leesburg.

New tenants include Spitz (1610 Village Market Blvd. SE, Suite 100,) a 1,788-square-foot Spanish Mediterranean street food concept from California that’s named after the vertical method of broiling proteins. The menu includes overflowing wraps, rich salads, gyros, flatbread pizzas, fries, and more. Also, with a rotating selection of craft beer, wine, sangria, and cocktails, and dog friendly too. This is the first Mediterranean restaurant at Village at Leesburg and Spitz’s first location on the east coast.  Opening early 2023.

Altitude Trampoline Park with more than 80 locations throughout the US (1604 Tupper Way, Suite 10), has recently opened. This will be its first location in Virginia. The concept provides a great venue for family fun with parties and group events, along with being a partner with the American Heart Association.

THE Anchor Bar, with more than 50 locations throughout the US, will open its first Virginia location at 1610 Village Market Blvd., SE, Suite 100. The 5,770-square-foot restaurant and bar are “the best wings in the world.” Its claim to fame is creating the first Buffalo wings in 1964. It will open in 2023.

A Place to Be is a nonprofit founded in Middleburg, Virginia, and is an influential therapeutic arts organization that offers unique and innovative programs. This 6,470-square-foot location at 1600 Village Market Blvd. SE, Suite 100, is the organization’s first location outside Middleburg. Programs include all types of therapeutic arts, including music therapy. Opening in 2023.

Salon Lofts is a national company that provides an innovative suite rental solution for independent beauty professionals and their clients. With 209 locations across the U.S., the company provides cohesive space, tools, and support. The space at 1610 Village Market Blvd. SE, Suite 100, is 5,767 square feet and will open in 2023.

In addition to adding new tenants, two tenants, Woodhouse Day Spa, at 1603 Village Market Blvd., SE, Suite 116, and Dana’s Cake Shoppe at 1604 Village Market Blvd., SE, Suite 125, are expanding. Woodhouse is adding 2,428 square feet to its current 5,550-square-foot location. The spa offers a variety of services, including advanced body and skin care treatments, from nurturing facials to invigorating body treatments. Dana’s Cake Shoppe is adding 890 square feet to its current 925 square foot location. Dana makes cakes from scratch with simple ingredients and intricate designs. The expanded space will provide Dana an opportunity to increase productivity while also offering a variety of hands-on experiences, including cake decorating.
