Q: What is your favorite part about interning at Rappaport?

A: As a Rappaport Intern, I often get the question “What is your favorite part about interning at Rappaport?”  A simple question can have a complex answer as there are so many memories and experiences that come to mind when I reflect on my time here. I am extremely grateful to work in an environment with skilled, hard- working, and kind people. When you ask for help at Rappaport, people will always be more than happy to lend a hand. Everyone is uplifting and passionate about their work.

The opportunity to work in all departments was a great eye-opener into what I want to do after college. Being able to go to work and genuinely learn something new every day has fostered a passion for learning in me. One of my most fond memories was touring Avec on H Street with Robert Lucas, a Senior Construction Project Manager. The sweltering heat and eight-floor hike was an experience by itself, but what made this trip special was Robert taking time out of his day to give a unique hands-on lesson about the construction and development side of Rappaport. The investment of time and energy Rappaport has put into my experience will forever give me lasting memories and skills that I will continue to use throughout my life. Also, the coffee bar was a fantastic perk.
