LEESBURG, Va., May 6, 2026—Village at Leesburg (located on Route 7 just east of Leesburg, Va.,) announced the addition of a new movie theater partner—Phoenix Theatres Entertainment. The Knoxville, Tennessee based company is known for its transformation of older theaters into first-class movie houses.  Village at Leesburg will close the theater on Monday, May 11 and re-open on Friday, May 15. In the interim, the theaters will be deep cleaned and lighting will be upgraded as Phoenix prepares the location for operational enhancements, including an improved food, beverage and bar experience.

“Phoenix Theatres is proud to be keeping the Village 14 Theatre open for its past patrons who have been loyal customers for over a decade. We are excited to bring new offerings in film presentation with our Phoenix Theatres Experience (PTX) auditoriums, changes in our food and beverage offerings and service and overall lower admission prices than previously offered. We look forward to providing great customer service to the greater Leesburg area for years to come,” said Phil Zacheretti, founder, president and CEO of Phoenix Theatres Entertainment.

The 63,654 square foot theater at Village at Leesburg has 14 movie screens. Two of the 14 theater spaces will be PTX auditoriums featuring laser projectors, immersive sound systems, the largest screens in the building and electronic recliner seats. One of the theaters will be a D-BOX using hyper-realistic motion systems that mimic on-screen action with media in the seats to simulate sensations like driving, flying or explosions. It’s a premium, immersive and adjustable experience.

“We are so excited to welcome Phoenix Theatres,” said Susan Bourgeois, executive director of leasing and brokerage at Rappaport, the company that owns, manages and leases Village at Leesburg. “Phoenix will provide the community with a first-class, state-of-the-art movie experience with a ‘guest first’ approach.”

Phoenix Theatres will also offer $5 bargain Tuesdays with every movie, every seat sold for $5 all day on Tuesdays. (Additional surcharge for PTX, D-BOX, Fathom and 3-D films apply.) There is also a free summer movie series with classic PG and PG-13 rated films for eight weeks during the summer. These are free to anyone attending Tuesdays through Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Also available will be advance online ticketing, reserved seating, a loyalty program and an Annual Popcorn Bucket. Once purchased, the bucket may be refilled for $5.99 during all future visits throughout the remainder of the year.

Phoenix Theatres Entertainment is elevating the food and beverage experience in Leesburg with a reimagined food and beverage program including a chef-driven menu, an expanded bar program, and a refined approach to classic concessions; designed for quality, convenience, and a seamless guest experience.

The enhanced kitchen features flame-grilled, premium Angus burgers crafted from a short rib and ribeye blend; alongside cheesesteaks; BBQ pulled pork; chicken sandwiches, signature loaded fries, and a variety of elevated classics, sweets, and more. At the center of the menu, artisan flatbreads are fired in a 700-degree specialty oven for a crisp, high-quality finish.

Guests can order from this elevated menu and head straight into the auditorium, where freshly prepared items are delivered directly to their seats; allowing them to settle in, enjoy the previews, and never miss a moment of the movie.

Complementing the kitchen, the bar program has been expanded to better serve guests with a curated selection of draft beer, classic and signature cocktails, along with a more consistently available offering of bottled beer and wine.

Designed for speed, consistency and ease of ordering, the streamlined menu delivers a more efficient guest experience while expanding high-demand offerings and supporting Phoenix’s “guest first” approach. The way food and beverages are ordered, paid for and received will be more streamlined, more customer friendly and more efficient.

Classic concessions remain a core part of the experience, featuring buttery theatre popcorn, ice-cold Coca-Cola products, and a wide range of grab-and-go favorites including Eisenberg all-beef hot dogs, classic theatre nachos, ICEEs, ice cream, candy, and other treats.

In addition, guests will find a selection of theatre merchandise, movie themed popcorn buckets and cups, and cozy theatre blankets available for purchase, rounding out a complete and elevated cinema experience.
