We’re excited to welcome Reisterstown Shopping Center to our roster of landlord advisory properties!

Located at 11989 Reisterstown Road in Baltimore County, the 160,000 SF center has long been a staple of the Reisterstown community. Built in 1964 and positioned along the Northwest Expressway (I-795), it sits in a prime location surrounded by a strong residential base—and today, it continues to be a go-to destination for local shoppers.

As part of this new engagement, our Construction Management team will be leading approximately $2 million in upgrades designed to enhance the overall experience for both tenants and visitors.

“We are thrilled to take on Reisterstown Shopping Center,” said Rappaport President Henry Fonvielle. “The center is a strong neighborhood asset, and this engagement is an exciting addition to our roster of properties. It reflects the trust owners place in our ability to elevate community shopping centers through thoughtful leasing, active management and a strategic long-term vision.”

Anchored by Lidl (29,000 SF) and the recently opened Lowe’s Outlet (33,000 SF), the center offers excellent visibility, ample parking and a robust mix of national and local tenants, making it a convenient one-stop hub for dining, shopping and essential services. The center was expanded in 2024 with the construction of a 15,000 SF retail building that includes an updated 11,000 SF Advance Auto Parts.

With 20 tenants and a lineup of national brands such as Starbucks, Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, Quickway, and Planet Fitness, the center already generates significant foot traffic — more than 3.2 million visitors annually — positioning it for continued growth and strategic repositioning.

“Our focus will be on strengthening the tenant mix and attracting retailers and service providers that align with the daily needs of the surrounding community, while enhancing the overall shopping experience for visitors,” said Zach Elcano, Director of Leasing and Brokerage at Rappaport, who will oversee leasing for the center.

This engagement further reinforces Rappaport’s retail advisory approach, combining market-driven leasing strategies, proactive property management and a commitment to energizing neighborhood retail destinations.
