Chuy’s is coming to Festival at Riva. Rappaport brokers Bill Dickinson and Jim Farrell represented the landlord, American Realty Advisors, to bring Chuy’s to Annapolis. This is Chuy’s second Maryland location. Bradley Buslik of H&R Retail represented Chuy’s.

Chuy’s is a Tex-Mex restaurant that started in Austin, Texas, in 1982. Since then they have spread their fresh, authentic Tex-Mex across the country. Chuy’s is taking over the 6,709 SF former Chili’s space, pictured above.

The center recently underwent renovations and held its grand re-opening last September . The renovations totaled $13 million and included updated facades with modern louvre features. New features included two LED Reader Boards at the entrance to the shopping center as well as LED lights around the facade. The project also included refreshed signage and introduces new community gathering spaces with the addition of common seating areas. Since the renovations, Stuart Kitchens, PM Pediatrics and now Chuy’s have signed leases at the center.
