“The DMV Party”, as it is colloquially titled, was the highlight of ICSC RECon in Las Vegas this past May.  The party’s true name is Retail Revelry, drawing hundreds together to celebrate the D.C. Metropolitan market during the second day of the retail real estate convention.  Sponsored by Rappaport, H&R Retail, KLNB, Kimco Realty, and Peterson Companies, the event attracted notable figures such as D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and several retail decision-makers to the Bellagio Grand Terrace.

Rappaport’s President, Henry Fonvielle, said of Retail Revelry,” The commercial real estate industry is still tied to personal interactions.  The DMV Revelry is truly a celebration of relationships we have with tenants, landlords, tenant representatives and gives us the opportunity to connect without the hoopla of the convention halls… it’s really one of connections and relationships.  It’s a wonderful industry where we are supportive of each other.”
