The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) announced Rappaport’s Executive Vice President, Larry M. Spott, was recently awarded their new Certified Retail Real Estate Professional (CRRP) credential.  Through his extensive knowledge of retail real estate, accomplished record, and lifelong commitment to professional development, Larry is one of the first to be recognized by ICSC under this designation.

“It is an honor to be considered and chosen to receive the CRRP certification from ICSC,” says Larry.  “I appreciate being recognized and continually strive to support and ensure the region’s property owners and tenants receive the highest standard for their developments and construction projects.”

The CRRP credential is only granted to industry leaders, with an acknowledgment letter sent from ICSC stating “ICSC’s education and certification programs raise the industry’s professional standards globally and this accomplishment sets [Larry] and Rappaport apart from the rest.”

Larry currently holds ICSC Certified Development Professional (CDP) and Certified Retail Professional (CRX) designations, is the former Mid-Atlantic State Director for ICSC and previously served as the State Operations Chair.  This year marks Larry’s 30th as a member of the Rappaport team, working his way up from an internship position when he first started.  For more information about Larry’s background, click here.
