Marketing Content Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

Rappaport is looking to add a Marketing Content Coordinator to our marketing team. An essential component to keeping our success is arming our brokers with story-telling tools that educate clients and close deals. The Marketing Content Coordinator is responsible for writing and editing various types of content, updating social media accounts, brochure production, assigned proposals and presentations with oversight from the VP of Marketing. This individual will uphold the standards of Rappaport’s brand and messaging by ensuring clear, cohesive communication across all marketing channels.

Rappaport is seeking a strategic, high energy individual that exhibits an investigative approach to information gathering, and apply strong writing skills to reflect Rappaport’s voice. The position requires a proactive nature, the ability to problem solve, impeccable attention to detail, and strong communications skills. The position requires a flexible and organized person capable of handling multiple assignments in a deadline‐driven environment.

Employment at Rappaport is at-will. This position is based at the corporate office in McLean, VA with onsite presence at the center, up to one or more times a week. Weekend work is required for special events, grand openings, community events and meetings held on weekends and evenings which occur approximately 10+ times a year.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with B2B Marketing, senior leadership, research team, and brokers to develop or acquire necessary proposal and presentation materials
  • Tell the story of Rappaport’s expertise to a wide range of outlets, including the media, printed collateral, social media, signage, and native advertising
    Researches and gathers information for proposals and presentations to include bios, service descriptions, leasing strategy, etc., format and edit content, or rewrite if necessary
  • Create or edit content for case studies, proposals, presentations, SEO blogs, emails, and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards
  • Maintain a pulse on market trends to expand and identify opportunities for thought leadership content opportunities
  • Coordinate production of materials for proposals and presentations with the Marketing Coordinator and graphics team
  • Create engaging and informative subject lines and property descriptions for email blasts
  • Utilize Content Management System (CMS) for the creation and maintenance of property and retail descriptions on the corporate website
  • Create and implement all digital marketing activities, including curating a recurring newsletter (Rapp Up)
  • Monitor digital metrics/analytics to ensure performance and generate marketing reports for clients
  • Grow the company’s social media presence by creating interactive content and commentary on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field desired.
  • Minimum 1–2 year experience working in a Marketing or Communications position.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent writing proficiency, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and strong creativity in message delivery
  • Experience curating and creating marketing content
  • Ability to think strategically and suggest creative solutions
  • Detail-oriented and possess analytical thinking skills
  • Must be able to work well with all levels of management and staff as well as outside clients
  • Possess good organization, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Be tactful and diplomatic through accurate verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Be mature, flexible, dependable, and professional
  • Ability to work independently yet also thrive working as a team
  • Experience in a commercial or retail real estate firm a plus
