The Washington Post

The Spanish tapas sensation has opened its newest location in Penn Quarter this month, marking its second location within the D.C. market and sixth overall.  Positioned along 9th Street Northwest between G and H Streets, Boqueria hosted its grand opening on March 6th to crowds of pleased D.C. residents and employees clamoring to enjoy the modern Barcelona-style small plates.  The Washington Post  followed up with a stellar review of the newest location, referring to Boqueria as “the party you don’t want to miss.”

Rappaport’s Mike Howard and Pat O’Meara represented Boqueria upon execution of their lease at 777 9th Street Northwest.  The popular restaurant chain, which migrated south from New York City in 2012 with its debut D.C. location in Dupont Circle, continues to seek new urban/suburban locations within D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia.
