Represented by Rappaport retail broker Pat O’Meara, Studio Xfinity is a unique experiential retailer that allows customers to learn about new technologies, products and services in an interactive environment. Their opening at Gallery Place marks the second location for this concept, the first launched in Chicago in 2016.

When scouting the ideal location for this retailer, Pat O’Meara desired a location with constant energy to draw consumers.  With Capital One Arena’s year-round events and adjacency to the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station, the liveliness of this dynamic complex is sustained by professionals and tourists alike who come looking for prompt personalized experiences. Pat O’Meara found the ideal retail space and matched Comcast’s vision for their dynamic concept by connecting them with an environment that would supply the consumers to sustain it.

Rappaport’s retail brokerage services also represented the landlord of Gallery Place, Oxford Properties Group, on this transaction.   The retail brokerage team of Bill Dickinson, Mike Howard and Melissa Webb strategically recaptured the space that was occupied by a below-market lease.  Their goal in leasing Gallery Place was to uncover tremendous value for the client while adding entertainment options to the Chinatown neighborhood. While representing landlords on this corner, Rappaport has unlocked value – space by space – and accelerated the market rent by 400% in the past 10 years.
