Grocery retailer Aldi opened its doors at last this week at Tower Square Shopping Center in Falls Church, Virginia.  Rappaport’s Alex Shiel and Jim Farrell represented Tower Square Shopping Center in the deal that was first reported in mid-2017, reconfiguring the tenant roster to secure a space ideal for Aldi’s larger footprint.  The store celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, February 21, with the mayor of Falls Church, P. David Tarter, ushering in the crowds patiently waiting to shop.

The German supermarket chain has undergone a broad expansion since unveiling its efficient layout and cost-effective concept stateside in recent years.  This newest store is located at 155 Hillwood Avenue, joining ABC Liquors and Troika Gastronom at the 38,600-square-foot shopping center.
