Springfield, Va.—Springfield Plaza merchants will host their annual free Halloween trick-or-treat parade on Saturday, October 24 at Springfield Plaza shopping center. Registration starts at 10 a.m. and will take place in the Springfield Plaza courtyard on Commerce Street next to Dollar King. The parade will run the perimeter of the center and will start promptly at 10:30 a.m. Children dressed in their Halloween costumes will receive candy and other goodies from participating merchants. The parade will take place rain or shine. Families can register to win one of five $100 shopping spree drawings. All winners must be present to win.
Springfield Plaza is just west of I-95 at the intersection of Old Keene Mill Road and Commerce Street in Springfield. Anchored by Giant Food, Trader Joe’s and David’s Bridal, the center is owned by Springfield Plaza Limited Partnership and is managed by The Rappaport Companies of McLean, Va.
