Rappaport Companies to Manage Hastings Marketplace

McLean, Va. - The Rappaport Companies has been selected to provide property management, leasing and construction management services for Hastings Marketplace in Manassas, Va. Anchored by Harris Teeter, Hastings Marketplace is a 95,000-square-foot retail center currently under development at the intersection of the Prince William Parkway and Liberia Avenue.

The Rappaport Companies will oversee the final elements of the project's construction, which includes adding a final coat of asphalt to the parking lot, parking lot striping, landscaping, awning installation, signage installation and completion of the traffic light on Hastings Drive. This work will be completed by the end of the year. The center's anchor, Harris Teeter, is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2010. Neibauer Dental is currently open. Jim Farrell, Rappaport's senior director of leasing and brokerage is overseeing leasing for the center.
