New Beauty Businesses to Open at Pointer Ridge Plaza

Pointer Ridge Plaza has attracted three new beauty focused business. Beauty Island, a beauty supply store and Lash Moi, salon and day spa are now open. Sashvelis Hair Salon will open sometime in July.

Beauty Island, is a beauty supply store offering skin, hair and nail care products. Next to CVS/pharmacy, the store is open for business Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Located between Pointer Ridge Barbershop and Star Nails, Lash Moi is a full-service salon and day spa specializing in eyelash extensions, facials, therapeutic massages, waxing treatments, and cosmetic tattoos. "We offer premium services in a professional and relaxing environment," said Julie Nguyen, owner of Lash Moi. The salon is open Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sashvelis Hair Salon has leased 1,250 square feet, next to Beauty Island. Will Collins of The Rappaport Companies represented the Landlord in the transaction. Sashvelis Hair Salon was represented by Irene Hudson of Exit Tri-County Realty.

"Response to the recent renovation of Pointer Ridge Plaza has been very positive, attracting new businesses to the center," said Will Collins, director of leasing for The Rappaport Companies.

Pointer Ridge Plaza is located at the intersection of Northwest Crain Highway and Pointer Ridge Drive in Bowie. The center includes Pizza Hut, Edible Arrangements and CVS/pharmacy. The shopping center is owned by PRSC, LLC, an affiliate of The Rappaport Companies, which also leases and manages the center.
