Penn Station Shopping Center has attracted two new stores to the center. GameStop, a video game distributor, and Cricket, a wireless phone retailer, are now open. GameStop, leased 1,865 square feet and was represented by Sam Pan of New Deal Associates. Cricket leased 1,175 square feet and was represented by Bob Morris of KLNB Retail. John Hayden of the Rappaport Companies represented the landlord in both transactions.
GameStop is a video game store that offers new and used consoles, games and accessories for all major gaming systems. GameStop is located next to Radio Shack and is open for business Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cricket, is a wireless carrier selling cell phones and other wireless equipment and services. Also next to Radio Shack, Cricket is open for business Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Penn Station is a 244,959-square-foot community shopping center on Pennsylvania Avenue and Silver Hill Road in Prince George's County. Anchored by a grocery store, the center includes a mix of national and local fashion, service, food and hard goods merchants. Penn Station recently underwent a renovation that included improvements to the lighting, facade, parking lot, signage and landscaping.
